HOME WITH COOKEE

Biblical Wisdom. Practical Skills. Eternal Truths.

Welcome Home

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.

Whether you're just beginning your homemaking journey or have spent years caring for your family, this is a place where biblical truth meets everyday life. Together we'll learn to create homes filled with peace, purpose, hospitality, and joy—all for the glory of Christ

Meet Cookee

A woman with short blonde hair and glasses smiling while holding a small, fluffy dog with a tan and gray coat and an open-mouthed expression. They are in a kitchen with wooden flooring and stainless steel appliances.

Hi! I’m Cookee. At least, that’s my ‘grandma’ name. My real name is Emma, but Cookee is way more fun!

I am passionate about learning and passing that knowledge on to others. Over the years, I have taught many classes on sewing, canning, herbs, cooking, Instant Pots, and sourdough as well as Bible Studies and Devotionals. I still have people asking me all the time to teach them homemaking skills so I felt led to put together everything I’ve already been doing into one beautiful package.

I truly enjoy sharing the things I love with others and pray that this ministry helps other women create Christ-centered homes where faith grows, meals are shared and we all realize that our worth is far above rubies.

RUBY RETREAT

Come home with Cookee…. literally! Spend a week at the Ruby Retreat living life together, fellowshipping with other women, and learning with Cookee standing at your side.

Our home is an hour east of Denver, Colorado. As part of our home, we built a family campground with 3 rustic cabins (electricity, but no running water), tent spaces, and a bath house/gathering cabin. We also have quiet vistas, wildlife, the sound of the wind in the trees, and views of the Rocky Mountains.

We are planning 3 retreats in 2027 - one week in May, one week in July and one in September. Click the link below to get on the interest list and get more information. If we have enough interest we may add additional weeks so still reach out even if these times do not work for you!

Coming in 2027!

Daily Devotions for Homemakers

“Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.”

Proverbs 31:10

What does “virtuous” mean? It means strong, efficient, capable and acts with integrity. That is a worthy goal.
